In 2012, Alex Kennon’s name began to resonate on the island of Ibiza, after he made his debut appearance at one of the Islands most prestigious clubs, Ushuaia. 2015 was the year that Alex established himself as a key Ibiza resident, with more than 15 gigs across the whole of the season for Insane at Pacha and appearances in most of Europe’s capitals including Berlin, London, Lisbon, Bucharest, Barcelona and Rome.
2016 was arguably Alex’s best year to date, with a collaboration on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records, followed by Alex joining Ellum boss Maceo Plex for the debut of his Mosaic party at Pacha Ibiza, becoming a resident across seven dates. The year was rounded out with his ‘The Last Call EP on NONSTOP reaching #3 on Beatport and gaining international support, most notably from Pete Tong who listed the Karmon remix as his 21st Best Tune of the year.
2017 has continued in a similar vein, with Alex forming part of Labyrinth by Hot Since 82 and Mosaic by Maceo teams for a series of dates at Pacha Ibiza, whilst he also joined Solomon for his Solomun+LIVE party at Destino. Add to appearances with Jamie Jones, Adam Beyer and Nic Fanciulli at the likes of Cocorico, Zouk Singapore, Parookavile Festival and Guendalina, and releases on renowned imprints including the likes of Get Physical and Bedrock, and it’s clear to see that Alex is enjoying his biggest year so far.
